In 2020, the performance Worker’s Choice became part of the collection at The National Gallery of Denmark and within this context, an exhibition version of the performance was developed. The installation creates a performative space where the viewer is offered an insight into the choreographic process behind the performance. Surrounded by original costumes, props, and a sound recording of the live performance, a score over Worker’s Choice hangs on the wall. The score consists of both texts, sketches, and images from the development of the performance and is intended as a tool for future performers. By sharing and structuring the performance into research material and image and movement analyses, the score reveals the mental universes the performers construct while performing the choreography.
