In a barren milieu a stranded business partner is on the phone with Carter. As the situation unfolds, we follow the two through the lens of the hand-held camera like scenes from a reality TV-show. Yet, their conversations are not merely responses to the immediate situation - on the contrary - they are muted and replaced with scripted dialogues, sourced from urban financial districts, magazines, ads, Timothy Morton, Jean Baudrillard and the TV-series Gossip Girl, all together blending into a cocktail of sex, money and war.
