White, sleek, forward-looking. With a strictly choreographed body, a brightly lit diagonal, four colorful plastic objects, and a sound collage, Holy Progression explores the influences, effects, and imprints of technology on contemporary bodies. How do we move in a world marked by optimization, speed, and chronic readiness? How to navigate in perpetual possibilities, liquified borders between here and there, accelerated flux and glitch? By embodying the figure of an idealized, over-stimulated body in limbo between human being, animal, and technology, Holy Progression puts a HYPER-body on display. A HYPER-body representing technocracy - a zeitgeist or belief system - crystallized into physical manifestations, resembling a state of survival mode.
